About Us

Bespoke dried and preserved wedding florist based in Derbyshire, creating natural, long-lasting wedding flowers across the Peak District and the North of England.

I use the term “us” quite loosely. While this is a small, family-run business, there’s really only one of us with all the creative talent — and that’s me… Sharon.

So how did I end up running a wedding floristry business?

Ironically, it really did grow organically. After being made redundant from the casino industry during the pandemic, like many people I found myself needing to take a new and hopefully more enjoyable direction in life.

I’ve always had a passion for horticulture and love nothing more than pottering around in my garden, tending to plants, cultivating flowers (and weeds!) and watching the beauty of nature grow and flourish. That love of the natural world is at the heart of everything I do.

It was this that led me to dried and preserved flowers, a way of capturing that natural beauty and allowing it to last for years to come.

Fast forward six years and here we are. I now specialise in bespoke dried and preserved wedding flowers, creating bouquets, accessories and venue florals for couples across Derbyshire, the Peak District, Cheshire, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Greater Manchester and the Lake District.

Over the years I’ve spent countless hours developing my skills, constantly educating myself, absorbing every nugget of information I can, and refining my techniques. I’ve loved every minute of the process.

I’m now officially a fully-fledged dried flower nerd… and honestly, I’m quite proud of that.
